The 2014 4th Annual Fort Worth Fat Tire Festival benefiting the Fort Worth Mountain Bikers’ Association (FWMBA) is slated to take place on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 9:00am till 3:00pm Gateway Park!
FWMBA is a 501c-3, all-volunteer, non-profit mountain bike club dedicated to building, maintaining and operating mountain bike trails in city of Fort Worth parks. FWMBA raises money on its own behalf to purchase trail building tools and fund its operations to educated the community on the benefits of mountain biking. To date, FWMBA has donated over 12,500 volunteer man hours to the city of Fort Worth to construct and maintain mountain bike trails at Gateway Park and Marion Sansom Park.
The festival, a fund raiser for FWMBA, will celebrate all things mountain bike including live music, food trucks, beverages, special mountain bike events, beginners mountain bike clinic, bicycle demos, and industry insider vendors. We’d love for you to be at the festival to help make our super mountain bike party a success.
