The Fort Worth Mountain Bikers Association (FWMBA) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to advocating for, building, and maintaining sustainable mountain bike trails in and around Fort Worth, Texas.
Established in 2006, FWMBA is a grass-roots community of mountain biking enthusiasts of all skill levels, ages, and from all backgrounds. Our members, supporters and volunteers have spent thousands of volunteer hours designing, building, and maintaining mountain bike trails in coordination with the cities of Fort Worth and North Richland Hills.
FWMBA advocates for the sport of mountain biking through interaction with departments and representatives from the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and the State of Texas. The Fort Worth City Council has dedicated a special presentation and recognition to FWMBA for the volunteer hours donated and the Fort Worth Police Department has issued a Letter of Endorsement to FWMBA.
FWMBA strives to engage and educate the community regarding responsible mountain biking and all things outdoors. We do this through public meetings, mountain biking events, and group rides. We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy our sport!
FWMBA is funded through membership dues, donations, partner grants, and fundraisers.
The Fort Worth Mountain Bikers Association is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations and contributions are tax deductible.
